PLEASE READ RULES / NOTES PRIOR TO BOOKING:

You must be at least 28 years old to book and if your group is not related, the average age of all adults (not including kids) must not be under 30 years old.

NO home events, prom events, weddings, rehearsal dinners, or any other events of any kind

NO Family Animals — if you bring an unauthorized pet you will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be given.

NO Smoking inside or on/around the premise

NO fire pits or deep fryers allowed on premise

Please note the fireplace is decorative only (if applicable)

Please be aware that there are exterior security cameras located on the premises directed towards the parking area and/or entrances for added security and tranquility of mind.

Due to severe allergies some homes may not allow service or support animals. You must disclose and get permission for any service and or support animals prior to booking.

Pool and/or Spa is private and unattended, so swim at your own risk. All kids must be supervised in the water at all time by an adult. No food, drinks, alcohol, glass, etc are allowed in or around the pool. Pools are serviced weekly. Please keep in mind that due to tropical nature of the island, it is not unusual to find unexpected debris and sand in the pool.

The pool is open year round. The heater typically keeps the pool water between 80-84 degrees April 1 - Oct 31 depending on outside air temperatures and weather. There is no additional cost to heat the pool, but we can not guarantee the pool water temperatures due to the dependency of the weather and air temperatures. Please keep in mind that the heater only runs when the pump runs and typically the pump does not run at nighttime due to timers.
*Please note, pools will NOT be heated November 1 - March 31, NO EXCEPTIONS*

If your *check in date* is on or between Memorial Day and Labor Day, your cleaning fee does include whole home linen and towel rental fee. All beds will be made up upon arrival with top and fitted sheets, pillow cases, and 1 set of towels will be supplied per person (1 set includes: 1 body towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth), and a kitchen towel.
**In the off-season (Labor Day - Memorial Day), linens and towels are NOT included in your reservation and are an optional additional fee of $240 at the time of booking. You can choose to bring your own linens and towels, or rent through a third event. (Last min. bookings: We need at least 24-hour notice in order to provide linens!)**

​​​​​​​We provide a basic starter pack of essentials for your first day including a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, hand soap, a roll of paper towels in the kitchen, and a trash can liner per bin.

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To find the best value, shift your family's Cape Fear area vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
• Some property managers offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
• Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. • When it's time to leave, take a final walk-through to make sure you did not leave anything behind. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
• Did you have a great vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
