Ocean Isle Beach rental home booking tips:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Ocean Isle Beach. Reserve your Cape Fear area rental in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • In the Cape Fear area area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked very early. Reserving your vacation home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Booking websites usually offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Cape Fear area area travel guide magazines that include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Selecting the best rental in the Cape Fear area area:

  • Select a group leader, choose your trip dates, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Beach Easy at Ocean Isle Beach, Private Heated Pool and Spa, Tiki Bar, Elevator, great views! has 5 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, reach out to the property management company before you reserve your home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to work out what configuration is suitable for your vacation group.
  • If there's a specific Cape Fear area beach you are enamored with, search for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, filter your search for a rental that allows animals. Request details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, property managers charge pet deposits and fees.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Save the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.
  • At Check-in, note any issues with the property and immediately alert the host. Record all coorespondence.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few issues.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors bothering your peace and quiet. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your rental while you're away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and scan for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a terrific time? Many rental managers make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
