Family Animals MUST be added to your reservation during the booking process to incorporate the pet fee into the total price. Limit is 2 dogs; no other animals allowed. - We supply bed linens & bath towels. Beach towels NOT included.

- We also provide enough hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, & trash bags to get you started upon arrival. However, if you are staying longer than a couple nights, please plan to supplement with your own supplies based on your personal needs.

Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Carolina Beach Yacht Club and Marina and Carolina Beach Arcade. Carolina Beach Boardwalk and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School are also worth visiting. June, July, and August are high season in Carolina Beach. Booking in the Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
Booking websites typically offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let crooks spoil your holiday.
At departure, take a walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
Did you have a great stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
