Other things to note
Although we can host 8 guests and are happy to do so, we feel as though 5-6 guests is optimal for comfort.

Our condo is on the 2nd story without an elevator, therefore there are 2 flights of stairs to climb.

This complex has a total of 3 units; a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor unit, we are the middle unit -you may have the occasional noise, footsteps, etc. from the other guests similar to many other apartments/condos.

About the Area

Located in Carolina Beach, this condo is on the beach. Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach. Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting.

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in coastal NC. To find the most suitable vacation home within your budget, we recommend reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Cape Fear area restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • The sooner your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.

  • Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let burglars spoil your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected everything. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to inspire more bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation.
