We welcome you as guests to our bespoke constructed home! Our home is one of the few homes on the island that features a pool. After a long day at the beach or instead of a day at the beach float around and relax in the pool. We are just a 2 min. walk to the beach access right at the end of our street. At the west end of Sunset Beach we are close to the end of the island with simple access to Bird Island, a reserve with pristine sandy white beaches, high natural dunes and more than 1200 acres of handsome salt marsh and tidal creeks. Visit the sacred and relaxing Kindred Spirit mailbox there and leave a note in the journal or sit and read notes from others. Our 2700 square foot home features a reverse floor plan with the kitchen/living/dining area on the upper floor with hickory wood floor throughout, tile bathrooms, quartz kitchen countertops and granite bathroom vanity countertops. Our bespoke wood paneled elevator stops at each floor and is just a few feet from the kitchen for the convenience of unloading groceries. Two decks on the front of the home have 12 rocking chairs (6 on each deck) to relax and appreciate the breeze. Two ceiling fans on the upper deck add to the calming breezes. Bed linens, bath mats and kitchen towels are included but GUESTS MUST BRING BATH TOWELS AND BEACH TOWELS. Our home features 5 bedrooms with a ceiling fan and private full bathroom in each and an additional half bath. Hair dryers are supplied in each bathroom. 2 bedrooms have king beds, 2 bedrooms have queen beds, and the 5th bedroom has 2 sets of bespoke constructed in bunk beds. The lower beds are bigger: a queen and a full. The upper bunk beds are 1 twin and 1 additional long twin. The bunk bed room has a book light at each bed and a USB outlet at each bed with 2 charger ports. This bunk bed room would be comfortable for adults as well as kids. There are 2 dressers and 4 drawers under the beds for storage along with a closet. There is a queen sleeper couch in the living room. All bedrooms are equipped with 4 USB outlets, two on each side of each bed for your convenience. No need to bring the square chargers just bring the cords. Two sets of washer/dryers accepts for multiple families to complete wash simultaneously. One laundry room is in main hallway and the second laundry room is (huge regular size stackable units) in master bedroom closet. The huge kitchen has bespoke cabinetry, a touch faucet, a French door refrigerator with bottom pull out freezer drawer, an additional drink refrigerator, a double oven with glass top stove, entirely outfitted cabinets, a enormous pantry, a Keurig coffee maker and regular coffee pot. The additional sizable dining table seats 12 with 3 additional bar stools at the counter peninsula. Lots of room for dining, playing games or cards or building puzzles. The high white washed cathedral ceilings in the great room and kitchen give an open coastal feel to the home. Unlimited hot water is always available for all 6 showers (5 inside and 1 outside) from 2 Rinnai tankless water heaters. Our home features a keyless entry with the ability for you to choose your own code. No keys to lose! We welcome you to make tons of vacation memories here!

Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To find the most suitable rental home within budget, we highly recommend booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at Cape Fear area restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance.   • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great source for finding the best local scenic spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • At departure, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to compel future bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review.
