Welcome to Tiger Pride! Much thought regarding details, supplies, and amenities has gone into setting up this striking home so that your vacation is as casual as possible and so that you can savor to the max a 5-star stay.

Vacation with us in this fresh across-from-the-ocean beach home. You will be glad you did! Like many others, we are sure you will return year after year. Looking for Ocean and Marsh vistas? Get the best of both worlds with a stay at "Tiger Pride" in family-aligned Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. You will appreciate spectacular vistas of both the ocean and marsh in this 5-bedroom, 4.5-bath bespoke home which comfortably accommodates up to 14 people. There is a pull-out couch so that 16 can sleep. Your private pool is ideal for calming and entertaining and you are just steps from the beach with countless beach towels and beach supplies included! Tiger Pride is conveniently located directly between 2 public beach accesses.

You will enjoy the convenience of an elevator that takes you from the covered parking/pool area to the first and second floors ... makes for very painless unloading of your car rather than hiking your belongings up 2-3 flights of stairs like other short-term units on the island. The first floor (middle) offers a sitting/entry area, 4 bedrooms, and 3 full bathrooms. The second floor (top) offers an open floor plan with a well-equipped, entirely supplied kitchen, a level bar area with seating for 6, and a gorgeous dining area that seats 10 people comfortably. This dining room table is unusual as many other home units offer fewer seatings.

Unwind in the inviting great room with vistas of the ocean. There is a full-size laundry room with a washer and dryer just off the kitchen. There is also a second master bedroom with a private bath with marsh vistas and a common half bath off the kitchen as well. There are various decks and covered porches from which you'll enjoy taking in the view, watching the coastal wildlife, dining, and entertaining.

Our kitchen is completely outfitted like no other! You have at your fingertips a fully-supplied coffee bar with all the trimmings, copious pots and pans, endless glassware, poolware, and a top-notch BBQ utensil set.

A charcoal grille is available for your use alongside the pool deck as well as a constructed-in bar area with a refrigerator. An outdoor shower is located on the ground floor to wash the sand away at the end of the day. Take in excellent sunrises and sunsets over the ocean right from the front or back porch.

Stay connected and entertained with 7 flat-screen TVs, WiFi, and a Sonos Surround Sound Speaker system. (Which streams music into the pool area, living room, and front balcony!) We also have 2 bicycles for you to enjoy strolling around the island. This property is great for off-season golf and Oyster Fest weekends!! With all of its detailed features, this home is the vacation getaway you and your guests have been looking for. Stay and experience this professionally decorated and attractively furnished bespoke-raised beach home.

*We HIGHLY recommend trip insurance, especially during hurricane season. We are unable to provide a refund due to storms, hurricanes, illness, COVID, etc.

*Pool heater available at an additional cost of $125 per day. Please note, the pool is heated to 86 degrees, and while it does not feel like a hot bathtub, it does get warm.

How to book the best Ocean Isle Beach rental experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • Summertime is high season in the Cape Fear area area. Book your vacation in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property managers usually offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Cape Fear area area travel guides that include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Planning, selecting, and booking a perfect Cape Fear area rental home:

  • Start by choosing your trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Paradise 5-Bedroom Beach Home w\/ Private Pool, Elevator & 2 King Beds has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is regularly available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the property owner before you reserve your rental. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to determine what is suitable for your family.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly rental. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.

Additional considerations:

  • Get the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property. Put the host's information in your smartphone.
  • Upon arrival, make note of any issues with the property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome vacationers disrupting your peace and quiet. Use the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and attractions you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let crooks spoil your vacation.
  • At departure, take a final walk-through to confirm you haven't forget any personal items. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property a final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a terrific stay? Many rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
