Oceanfront with Elevator: Welcome to Sea Colony 31A! You can suntan in private, appreciate exceptional ocean vistas, and watch for the dolphins to swim by from the oceanfront deck. This condo has been remodeled to feature granite countertops, new kitchen cabinets and appliances, and an refreshed Primary Bedroom Suite. Two comfortable bedrooms each have their own bathroom. A marvelous vacation spot near all the best Carolina Beach attractions!
Please note: the Sea Colony Pool is closed for the winter after October 1, 2024.

Long known as an economical Oceanfront Community, Sea Colony offers one of the most cavernous and lush grounds you will find in any other Oceanfront complex and features a gorgeous oceanfront pool and private walkway to the beach. Sliding glass doors with a full front window wall create indoor-outdoor living space in the family room. You will appreciate spending time on the sizable 9x15 balcony while you feast your eyes on the elegant Atlantic Ocean. Savor the community gazebo, oceanfront pool, and incredible landscaping with broad green lawns. The location has painless access on and off the island, avoiding heavy season traffic by using Dow Rd. Ample-lighted parking for 2 cars in the parking area requires a completely displayed parking pass at all times. The HOA does check frequently during the season to protect your right to park there as a guest. Vehicles not displaying a pass will be towed.

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds. 

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm
Check-out is by 10 am. 
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Elevator Policies:
Please note, the elevator is for convenience only and does not guarantee ADA Compliance or Wheelchair accessibility. Although elevators are checked on a regular basis, Sea Coast Units/Owners will not be held accountable if the elevator is not operating or functioning properly during your stay. No refunds will be issued for these closures. 

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Units/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy:
No family pets allowed.

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re-rented. If premises are re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.

During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Rent a Jeep, bicycle, or golf cart as the most convenient ways to navigate the island. Annual off-season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

Located on the beach, this condo is in Wilmington Beach, a neighborhood in Carolina Beach. Halyburton Park and Carolina Beach reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Carolina Beach Boardwalk and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Tregembo Animal Park are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

• Summer months are the most expensive season in the Cape Fear area area. To get the best value, change your family's Cape Fear area vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a special rate.
• Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection.
