Welcome to Five Fun Seekers! Our goal is to share our vacation home with you, making it a memorable experience full of FUN! Wake up to photogenic sunrises from the balcony, ocean vistas, and the sound of crashing waves. Located just steps from the beach; and close to eateries, bars, and the boardwalk. Fort Fisher, NC Aquarium, fishing charters, festivals, events, Wilmington, and other attractions make this a year round destination. Condo is on the first floor (avoiding too many stairs)!

Getting the most from your rental budget:

  • Summer time is high season in the Cape Fear area area. To find the largest rental home for your budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Cape Fear area restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property managers typically offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses.   • Visiting for a specific attraction or event? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
  • Double-check the property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a terrific vacation? Most rental home management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
