Three of the bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms and walk-in closets. Two of the rooms are equipped with King beds, the other 2 have Queens, with the fourth bedroom having additional twin bunk beds. The home features a charmingly updated kitchen with all the amenities you need to accommodate in-home meal prep and cooking. However, if you don't feel like cooking, you're also in luck with the convenience of having multiple local eateries within a 2–5-min. drive.

We know you want to relax without any stops at the store when you get to the island. To get you started we provide a welcome kit that includes trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pod, washing machine pod, dishwashing soap, hand soap at every sink, bath soap, and shampoo/conditioner.

As you will find when selecting dates on the calendar, there are minimum stay requirements based on the season. There is a 7 nighttime minimum with a mandatory Saturday to Saturday rental pattern in the peak summer months, and there is more flexibility in the slower seasons. • Summertime is the most expensive season in Oak Island. Book your Cape Fear area rental property in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.

• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
• Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
• Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Go through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the host is not available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
• Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on great feedback to stimulate new reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback.
