If you prefer to prepare occasionally, the kitchen is completely supplied with pots and pans, cooking silverware, bake ware, plenty of dishes/flatware and glassware (including beer and wine glasses). The garage homes pool and beach toys, chairs and coolers. For those Freeman Park goers there is an air compressor (90 psi) for inflating your tires and a shop vac so you can go home with a sand complimentary car.

Due to previous damage in the garage, the owners have installed a security camera in the garage.

How to find the best Carolina Beach rental experience:

When to visit Carolina Beach & When to book:

  • The sooner you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your vacation rental six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Summer months are high season in the Cape Fear area area. To find the best value, change your family's Cape Fear area vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer pleasant temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies often offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Cape Fear area area magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guide magazines have coupons for local accommodations and attractions.

How to choose and book your prefect Cape Fear area vacation home:

  • Begin by choosing your the best vacation week and a max budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Ocean and Lake views. Private elevator and garage. Pool. has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is almost always accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, call the property owner before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property manager about your furry family members before booking.
  • Is your group looking for specific amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental home.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .

Advice for a great stay:

  • Put the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents lots of difficulties.
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the rental when you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Make a record of any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately contact the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be useful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an excellent source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Double-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property a final time and look for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a terrific time? Most rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
