• Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To get the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Cape Fear area attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
• Property management companies often offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection.
