Our preferred change over day is Saturday.

About the Area

Located in Ocean Isle Beach, this cottage is near theme parks and on the waterfront. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Sage Island and Ocean Isle Beach, while Museum of Coastal Carolina and Sunset River Marketplace are cultural highlights. Ingram Planetarium and Planet Fun are also worth visiting. Finding your perfect vacation home:

• Summer is high season in the Cape Fear area area. Booking your Cape Fear area vacation home in Fall or Spring months is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
• The earlier you can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Reserving your rental home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
• Property managers often offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.

• Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors disrupting your peace. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known!
• Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can frequently help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
• Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are gone, just like you would at home.
• Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Go through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition.
• After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to propel new reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review find their best vacation home. Be fair with your review.
