About this Property

  • Sleeps 8
  • 3 Bedrooms
  • 4 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home
  • Approximately 1200 square feet

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located townhome. This striking unit is directly beside a beach access and a short walk or bicycle ride away from the boardwalk, CB Lake, greenway, veggie wagon, tiki bar and others eateries.

The townhome is 3 floors plus a garage on the ground level. The garage has beach chairs and toys that are available to be used.

The first floor has a entirely supplied kitchen, dining table that seats 6, comfortable living area, and huge balcony. The dunes that protect our home give this floor the most privacy.

The second floor is where you will find 2 bedrooms, each with their own full bathroom. The first bedroom has twin over full bunk beds with twin trundle. This room also has a private balcony overlooking the beach.

The next bedroom on this level has a full bed and you can find a pack n play and air bed in this closet, if needed. It is on the street side of the unit and blackout shades make this room great for little ones.

The entire third floor is the master bedroom. This room has a queen bed, private balcony, and modest bathroom.

We use this property as our own beach hideaway as often as we can with our 2 young boys. However, we’ve finally decided to share it with others and hope you appreciate this hidden gem as much as we do!

*PARKING - Our driveway fits one car only. **Strict NO SMOKING policy. This refers to inside AND outside the property.

Our top Rental home tips:

When to visit & When to reserve a rental home:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To find the largest rental home within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • In the Cape Fear area area, The sooner your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers typically offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Look for your local Cape Fear area visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitor guide magazines contain offers and deals for nearby tours and attractions.

How to pick the perfect vacation home in the Cape Fear area area:

  • Choose a group leader, select your trip dates, and select a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. Pleasure Island Treasure has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Cape Fear area rental home search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts is generally accessible online. If not, contact the property owner before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds.
  • Looking for particular amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or applied to your agreement.

More tips for your stay:

  • Get the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Document any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are useful if there is a dispute.
  • Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on good reviews to stimulate future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review find their best rental home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
