We are three homes back from the ocean, and you get a sliver of a view from the front porch! Looking for a calming time, ambiance? This is it!

This impressive first floor unit is light and cavernous! The comfortable sectional in the living room is the ideal place to relax after a day at the beach. It is open to the dining area with plenty of seating. The roomy bedrooms features a king size bed with comfortable linens. The bathroom has been refreshed with tile floors and subway tile walls. One of the best parts of this unit is the front porch where you can savor your morning coffee while taking in the sea breeze.

Tips to get the perfect Cape Fear area vacation rental experience:

How to get the best value:

  • In the Cape Fear area area, The sooner you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Cape Fear area area. To get the best value, consider changing your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Cape Fear area visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines contain discounts for local accommodations and attractions.

Planning and picking the right Cape Fear area rental home:

  • Begin by selecting potential vacation weeks and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the configuration your family requires. Sailfish B - Close to the Beach has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is regularly available on booking pages. If they are not listed, email the property management company before you book the rental. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to establish what is optimal for your vacation family.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Extra fees or charges applied to your agreement.
  • Visiting for a single event? If so, use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental

Have a fantastic stay:

  • Add the host's phone number to your phone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your rental while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
  • Note any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately send them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are valuable if a dispute is filed.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on good feedback to drive future reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
