Looking for a vacation spot where every time you come back, you experience the same high level of quality? At our Koastal View oceanfront condo, we personally modernized and equipped this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo to become ‘that’ vacation spot where you will want to book your next visit before you leave.

Koastal View is located on the 5th floor at Pelican Watch, Carolina Beach. It has everything you need for an extraordinary beach vacation! Pelican Watch features secured access after 9 PM, 2 elevators, a heated indoor pool & hot tub, seasonal outdoor pool, ocean front picnic area with charcoal grilles, private sundeck, private beach walkway, outside shower and bicycle racks. Two parking passes are included for the parking lot across the street. Guests can unload next to the front door, and suitcases carts and two elevators are available to help you get your things up to the unit.

Savor amazing vistas of the Atlantic Ocean at Koastal View, and wake up to the sound of the surf and watch the sunrise without even getting out of bed! We strive to make the condo a very comfortable 'home away from home'. We continue to make updates to our home to ensure our guests have a fantastic experience and vacation.

The huge ocean front balcony is equipped with 4 pub height Amish-constructed chairs and pub table, which is ideal for morning coffee or beverages at sunset. Watch the dolphins, pelicans, boats and surfers.

The ocean front Master features a comfortable King bed, flat screen TV and private bath with shower. The 2nd bedroom has an equally comfortable Queen bed and flat screen HD TV and shares a common bath with combination tub/shower. The ocean front Living Room features a Queen Sleeper Couch, with a 50” flat screen TV.

The kitchen has stainless steel appliances (refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher), and is also well equipped with cooking supplies. The wet bar area is ideal for making your favorite drinks. A full size front load washer and dryer, blender, toaster, coffee makers (Keurig & drip), iron, ironing board, suitcases racks, and hair dryers are available for your convenience. Board games, cards and many books are also available for your use.

Smoking and Animals are NOT allowed at this property. Outdoor pools are normally open Memorial Day to Labor Day (weather permitting). The front doors are locked after 9 PM. Therefore, you must arrive at the unit (on your first day) prior to 9 PM in order to gain access.

Finding the best vacation home experience:

Finding your best deal:

  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • Booking in the Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property managers frequently offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Often, property management companies supply Cape Fear area area travel guide magazines which often include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

How to select the perfect vacation rental in Carolina Beach:

  • Select dates and max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Amazing Ocean View Condo - Updated furnishings throughout! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is commonly available online. If you don't see them listed, contact the property owner before reserving the property. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to establish what is best for your vacation group.
  • Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or charges applied to your agreement.
  • Does your family require specific amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

More tips for your visit:

  • Add the owner's phone number to your smartphone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few concerns.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Note any issues with the property at check in, and immediately contact the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors disrupting your home life. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would have never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed everything at check-out. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a great vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
