Strategies to get the perfect rental home experience:

Getting the most from your budget:

  • Summer months are high season in the Cape Fear area area. To get the largest rental for your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions.
  • In the Cape Fear area area, The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Cape Fear area area travel guide magazines which include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Finding the best vacation home in Carolina Beach:

  • Start by choosing your trip dates and a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Beautiful 3 BR, 2 BA OF Condo - Pets OK, Linens and FREE Hurricane Protection !! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Cape Fear area vacation rental search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, email the property manager before reserving the home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If there's a particular Cape Fear area attraction you love, look for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you will need a rental that allows animals. Ask for specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Some property managers charge additional pet fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property.
  • To make sure that no damages are attributed to your family's visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas when you arrive. Speak to the host right away to relay your findings. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your peaceful neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your vacation home while you're away. Protect your property!
  • Double-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at departure. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to stimulate future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
