This property is a elegant townhouse in the North end, within walking distance of the pier, and features an open concept main level with plenty of natural light. Upstairs, both full bathrooms are freshly painted with new tile floors, toilets, and vanities. There is a deck off both the living room and master bedroom, ideal for sitting with a glass of wine at nighttime and listening to the waves.

Walking up to the main living level will bring you to the kitchen, living room, and dining area. There is a laundry room on the main level that also has a half bath within it. Upstairs, both bedrooms have a full attached bathroom.

The second bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed with a twin trundle.

There is parking for two cars - one in the garage, and one in the driveway. There are also multiple guest spots for the building that are first come first served, so availability of additional parking is not a guarantee.

The property has beach items for your use. There is also a pack and play, kids dishes/cups, puzzles, board games, and toys.

The only security camera on site is a video doorbell.

Strategies to get the optimal Cape Fear area rental experience:

Finding the best rental value:

  • The earlier you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Booking your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Summer time is high season in the Cape Fear area area. To get the best value, try changing your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Some property management companies offer special rates for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Cape Fear area visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guides have discounts for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Selecting and booking the bestrental:

  • Start by selecting your the best vacation week and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Family friendly townhouse, a short walk to public beach access! has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is almost always accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the property owner before booking the property. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches. You will need to establish what bed configuration is suitable for your vacation family.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or costs might be applied to your agreement.
  • Are you visiting for a specific event or attraction? Try a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental.

More considerations:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Save the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents many issues.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • To make certain no damages are attributed to your visit, inspect for any problem areas during arrival. Make contact with the host right away to relay any damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome vacationers disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would've not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected everything. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on great feedback to inspire new reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
