We've so adored sharing our home these last multiple years, but we're going to savor living on Sunset Beach full time. If you've stayd with us in past, thank you so much again. And for those just coming to Sunset, perhaps we'll see you on the beach!

About the Area

Located in Sunset Beach, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Rees Jones Golf Course and Willard Byrd Golf Course are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Russell Burgess Coastal Preserve and Heritage Shores Nature Preserve. Ingram Planetarium and Museum of Coastal Carolina are also worth visiting. Kayaking, scuba diving, and water skiing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling nearby.

Getting the best rental home value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Reserve your rental property in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • The earlier you can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies often offer renters an option to buy trip insurance.   • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.

  • Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to confirm you have not leave anything behind. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent reviews to stimulate new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback.
