Getting the best Cape Fear area rental experience:

Sticking to a spending plan:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Cape Fear area area. Reserve your Cape Fear area rental in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Look for your local Cape Fear area visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guides contain offers and deals for local tours, shops, and attractions.

How to select the perfect vacation home in Ocean Isle Beach:

  • Select a group leader, select your trip dates, and select a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your group requires. Island Park 4 BR House-Community Pool! has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally accessible online. If they are not listed, call the host before reserving your rental. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to find a property that allows animals. Request details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Usually, property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction or event? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. .

Some things to know before you go:

  • We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • To make certain that damages are not linked to your stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas when you arrive. Get in touch with the property manager right away to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and places you would've not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Re-check the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on good reviews to inspire future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
