About this Property

  • Condo
  • Approximately 650 square feet

If you want to be as close to the ocean without actually being in it, Sea Forever, a top floor, oceanfront condo is for you! The view anywhere from the deck, living room and bedroom at Sea Forever to the Atlantic Ocean and miles of beach is pretty.

The beach is routinely "re-nourished", with City access walkways placed every couple of blocks. This year the closest sandy beach access is at Sandfiddler or by the pier. However, that being said, any storm can change the access points at any time. This year it looks like the beach is limited right in front of the condo.

Seascape lies directly on the beach. Sea Forever's deck, off the living room and bedroom, offers a great vantage point from which to watch the action and look at the north pier. Late summer evening dinner on the deck is one of the special experiences this condo offers and the view is spectacular. It feels as though you are on a ship, with an broad view of the beach and ocean.
There is also a pretty view of the inter-coastal waterway and marsh of the island from the sizable kitchen window.

Seascape property also offers a private pool with a landscaped courtyard. Outdoor grilles are available near the pool for family or group outings. There are bicycle racks and you can bring a boat on a trailer if you give us some notice. It can be parked safely right across the street at our Courtyard property.

The condo has a good size bedroom with walk-in closet, a door directly leading to the deck, a enormous ocean facing window, with a Queen-size bed. In the living room there is a sliding glass door where there is full-size seating. Either place affords a great place to listen to the ocean while you doze off to nap or sleep.

Major renovations are done periodically including sliding door and all windows, range, dishwasher, microwave, granite countertops, floor and new HVAC in 2022, to name a few. The bathroom and kitchen floors are tiled. New plank floor and painted walls throughout. New bedroom and living room set and TV in 2022.

Sea Forever has a completely equipped kitchen with microwave, blender, toaster, coffee grinder and coffee maker, as well as all the other silverware to make your meals in case you decide to relax on the deck while looking at the ocean. There is a table and chairs on the deck and new PollyWood chairs, for your enjoyment while you sit outdoors and watch the sky, ocean, surfers, pelicans and dolphins!

Two blocks away is the entrance to Freeman Park, a 1 ½ mile stretch of open beach, and one of the last few beaches you can drive on. If you have a 4-wheel drive you can drive right on the beach and spend the day fishing, surfing, swimming, walking or just appreciating the ocean breeze.

Carolina Beach Boardwalk is an painless bicycle ride away. Savor seasonal concerts, fireworks, outdoor movies and a Farmer's Market. Feel the sights and sounds of the carnival rides, arcade games, cotton candy and Britt's Donuts at the Boardwalk. You can find the dates for these activities and other information from the City website.

We limit the condo to TWO (2) guests.
NO family pets and NO smoking in condo or deck.
Please respect these requests. Thank you

About the area:

Carolina Beach and Seascape are located on Pleasure Island that is accessible by bridge from the north or ferry boat from the south. Charter boats for fishing, dining, and tours are located in Carolina Beach. Eateries, shopping, the North Carolina Aquarium, a modest amusement park and beach units (bicycles, etc.) are also on the island. There is a bicycle path that runs along a part of the island.

There are two piers on the island for fishing. Our condo is located about 1-2 blocks from the one on the north end of the island.

Pleasure Island features various festivals throughout the year. The Spring Festival at Carolina and Kure Beaches features live entertainment, arts and crafts. Several Golf courses are located close by. There are numerous stores in the area featuring beach items ranging from clothing to home decor. Numerous eateries serve meals ranging from snacks and casual to more formal evening meals.

Going south on the island, only mins. away, is Fort Fisher Historical Park and Aquarium in Kure Beach. You can also take the ferryboat which makes the half hour trip to the cozy town of Southport. Vehicles or Bicycles may be taken onto the ferry that goes from Fort Fisher to Southport, both great places to visit.

North, and also a short drive away, is the historic port city of Wilmington where you will find cobblestone streets filled with a variety of stores and eateries.

Wilmington plays host to various special events. One is the North Carolina Azalea festival in April featuring live musical and theater performances, garden and historic homes tours, outdoor activities, food and crafts. During the summer outdoor activities are scheduled along the Wilmington riverfront. The North Carolina Battleship Museum and riverfront cruises are in Wilmington.

The sandy beach is 7 miles long and accessible by City-maintained walkways placed periodically along the beach.

Freemen's beach is plenty wide the entire length high and low tides, as well as most of the rest of the North end.

Tips and Tricks to get the best rental home experience:

Finding your perfect rental home:

  • Summer months are high season in the Cape Fear area area. To get the largest rental home for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Cape Fear area restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • In the Cape Fear area area, The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Cape Fear area area visitors guide magazines which include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Choosing and booking yourrental:

  • Start by selecting vacation dates and a budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Lovely Oceanfront Condo????VastTop FloorView????Pool????WiFiCable????Quiet N End ????2 Max has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is generally available on booking pages. If they are not listed, reach out to the host before you reserve the home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to work out what configuration is right for your family.
  • Is your group looking for particular amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental home.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or could be applied to your agreement.

During your stay:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your . Store the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make sure damages are not attributed to your family's visit, make note of any problem areas upon your arrival. Speak to the property manager immediately to record any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, television set or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent many difficulties.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be an incredible resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to drive future bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best rental home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
