How to get the best vacation rental experience:

When to go & When to reserve a Carolina Beach rental home:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is high season in the Cape Fear area area. To book the largest rental for your budget, we suggest booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local Cape Fear area area magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guide magazines contain discounts for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Planning and picking a perfectvacation home:

  • Start by selecting potential vacation weeks and a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. Luxury Carolina Beach Home- NEW HOUSE- sleeps 6 has 3 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible online. If not, email or call the property management company before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you must book a pet-friendly vacation rental. Get specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction? If so, use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .

During your stay:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your .
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Protect your property!
  • To ensure that damages are not attributed to your visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon your arrival. Speak to the rental manager right away to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often an excellent resource to find the best local scenic spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Upon check-out, take a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a terrific stay? Many rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
