This is the lower level, street facing unit of a brand new construction duplex. It is a completely separate unit with its own entrance and a comfortable yet luxury feel. The interior is modern with an open living space and a constructed-in electric fireplace. Less than a mile to the Live Oak Bank Pavilion and just a few blocks to all that downtown has to offer. The entire duplex was just constructed in 2024 and is ready to host you whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation!

This is a brand new home in Wilmington's Historic District--a rare find! The interior is modern with an open living space and a constructed-in electric fireplace. This unit can sleep a max. of 4, but unless there are kids or petite adults it is most cozy with 2 or 3. It is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit with a pull out couch in the living area (slightly bigger than a twin) along with a convertible accent chair (slightly smaller than a twin). It has its own kitchen with a refrigerator/freezer, sink, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, & coffee maker. Essentials like plates, cups, cookware, silverware, & paper towels will be included for your use. Note that the bathroom is connected to the bedroom, so if guests sleeping on the pull out couch need to use the bathroom in the nighttime, they will need to access the bathroom by walking through the bedroom. This unit is one story and faces the street with its own private entrance. The other unit is two stories and has a separate entrance on the side of the home, however the walkway runs from the very front of the home down the whole south side and you may hear or see other guests walking to their entrance.

We welcome guests of all backgrounds! However, due to prior disrespectful renters and property damage, we will only be accepting booking requests from:
--Users who are "verified" and who already have positive reviews from other hosts.
--Renters that are above the age of 21.
--Renters who are not bringing family pets.


***There is no dedicated parking. There is complimentary street parking that is available on a first come, first served basis. We know it looks like there's a driveway for parking, but please keep us on the Historical District's good side and refrain from parking there and park in the street only. Please lock your cars and take any valuables with you.

***The bedroom shares the back wall and the ceiling with the other unit in the duplex, which means you may hear guests above you and behind you if it is occupied during your stay. We’ve supplied sound makers in the bedroom in case this is bothersome. We kindly ask that guests in both units are mindful of peaceful hours as not to disturb others. If guests in the other unit are being far too loud, please let us know and we will address that with them immediately.

***The fireplace color and heat settings can be controlled via remote or on the touch panel of the fireplace itself. Instructions are in the welcome binder. Feel complimentary to take advantage of all it has to offer and create the ambiance that suits you best! Please remember to turn it off when not in use or if it's not being monitored to conserve energy and for safety reasons.

***If you are bringing infants/babies, the units are NOT infant-proofed. (Furnishings is NOT secured to walls, outlet blockers are NOT supplied, cabinets/drawers are NOT locked, etc.) You assume responsibilities for all guests.

***There are many fashionable eateries and attractions within a mile, including the Live Oak Bank Pavilion and all that the Riverwalk and Front Street have to offer. If you have any specific questions or concerns, please feel complimentary to reach out prior to booking.

Wilmington is home to this vacation home. Battleship North Carolina and Brooklyn Arts Center at St. Andrews are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Children's Museum of Wilmington and Magnolia Greens Golf Plantation. When to visit Wilmington & When to book:

• The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
• Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To get the best vacation home for your budget, we highly recommend booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Cape Fear area restaurants, beaches, and activities.
• Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
• Property management companies usually offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
• Find a copy of your local Cape Fear area area magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitor guide magazines contain discounts for local accommodations and attractions.

• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
• When it's time to leave, take a final walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Walk through the rental a final time and scan for damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
• After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on great reviews to compel future bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback find their best vacation home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
